The
La Moine River Ecosystem
Partnership (LMREP) is a collaboration of more than 25 organizations and dozens
of committed landowners and residents dedicated to the protection, restoration,
and stewardship of the natural resources of the
La Moine River watershed and adjacent areas. We want to assure that our
watershed is healthy because is plays such an important role in our lives.
We are a grassroots effort working diligently to
make opportunities more available to
West Central Illinois. In
2006 we completed an
integrated watershed management plan for our region which we use to
direct our activities and secure project funding.
Our Mission is to preserve, protect, and enhance the natural
resources
of the La Moine River Watershed
area as a sustainable ecosystem. |
